    About

    We start with the basics and build up to a level where you can participate in controlled sparring. Who knows, you might do it for real and feel the adrenalin of the big fight build up, that’s the goal!

    Boxing is a great way to stay in shape and relieve stress. Our experienced boxing coaches will teach you to learn boxing skills. Whether you’re learning to learn the art of boxing and compete or just as an alternative fitness regime, our teaching dedication is the same. Lessons will involve different movements and stances, punching combinations and skill sets it requires including heavy bag work, floor to ceiling ball, pad work with a trainer and skipping.

    Our experienced trainers make the teaching methods easy to understand and anyone can learn.

    We offer a controlled environment where you will be trained and observed by professional boxing trainers. Sparring is optional and is always controlled. We control sparring to all levels of fitness and ability, so don’t worry if you have never boxed before.

    About

    Female only 60 minute fitness session using a variety of boxing base fitness techniques. Suitable for Ladies 12 years+.

    Benefits of boxfit

    So what are the benefits of boxfit? There are many. Most importantly boxfit is a great cardiovascular workout which will help you sculpture a toned body. It also allows you to relieve stress and is also a good way to meet new people and make new friends.

    Many people initially associate boxing with fighting, however the training and fitness workouts are just as essential. Boxing combines strength and speed with stamina and endurance which ensures a full body workout using the specialist boxing equipment.

    Participants will be required to compile and submit a statement form, indicating all previous contact sport experience, which will then be used to categorise their level of ability. This design makes boxfit very versatile to accommodate people of all fitness levels wherever you are a beginner or more experienced.

    What Does Boxfit Involve?

    The classes will involve punching with gloves and pads in combination with cardiovascular exercises including star jumps, squats and lunges. Abdominal exercises are also included to complete a full body workout.

Cross training keeps the various body muscle groups fresh and fit therefore improving your overall body fitness.

    Advantages Of Cross Training

    Cross training helps to prevent injury due to the over use of one particular muscle group. It creates balance, letting the muscles rest and repair themselves during the gap between each different training method.

    It also keeps your exercise program interesting, avoiding the boredom that can lead to giving up.

    Boxing, in terms of its training is one of the toughest sports and professional boxers are renowned for being among the fittest athletes of any sport in the world. Not only do their workouts address strength and power but also speed and agility.
